Great post. Makes you wonder where the story will come from in the future if it is all online only.

Well, I suspect there will always be "something" to capture the story. Perhaps it will become a matter of which types of stories will be more meaningful and important as time moves on.

Tom, you also forgot. Wire, grammaphone, 78, 33, 45, cassette, 8 track, CD, ipod, protools, etc. In the music world it's all about the song. Paperback Writer being played off a old Radio Shack cassette deck through a bullhorn is still better than a Britney Spears concert in 5.1! Don't bore us, get to the chorus...
